ប្រាសាទកោះកេរ្តិ៍ (ខេត្តព្រះវិហារ)-Koh Ker Temple

The Koh Ker Temple is located in Yong Lang Cheung Village, Sreang Commune, Kulen District, 72 km National Highway 23 Kilometers from Siem Reap Town, Street 211 and 49 km from Preah Vihear Province. Koh Ker temple complex was built on a plateau plate called Chalkidiki by Jayavarman IV (928-942). The Koh Ker temple is about 35 meters high and divided into seven as three squares, facing west to Angkor.

Koh Ker is an ancient capital, about 1,000 years old. It was built for the goddess Phuvannravarna, whose Khmer-language inscription in Khmer is "rarely a king", a great deity or a festive celebration of the Preah Vihear ceremony.
The Koh Ker Archaeological Museum, which has been found today, consists of 96 temples such as: Preah Vihear Temple, Boeung Veng, Trapeang, Prey Nang, Srah Srang, Penang, Trapaing, Trapeang, Ta Phiphong, Red, Andong, Red Water, Elephant Trees, Two Stations, Black Forest, Thnol Subdivision, Leng Chum Peak Pagoda, Trapeang Svay Khmao No Five, These temples are not built next to each other, separate from 1km to 3km or 4km. Koh Ker: About 200 to 300 meters west of the temple is the temple of Kampung or Koh Khe temple. The distance from the distance is covered by forest, which looks like a hill. But we approaching this temple is a huge pyramid of sandstone, about 35 meters high, divided into 7 rows with 55 steps. Each side has a height of 5m, with a surface of about 2m in diameter. At the top of the temple, there are now many large sculptures that are showing rhythm of the phouvanna vespers near each other. The mouth of a well 4x4 square is deep from top to bottom today, there is no visible grass (old saying that if you drop the palm coconuts from here, the coconut will come to the pagoda in front of the black temple). At the top of the temple, there is a small bush, a cool, beautifully landscaped scenery surrounded by mountains, Tire Mountain, and Kulen district. In the north, there is another Temple, called Dam Rey, but the temple is damaged. In the northeast, there is another temple, Lung Temple, the temple has only 3 devils in succession, it is large, small, but the ligament 1 is broken.
