Phnom Da Temple - Cambodia Travel

Phnom Da is a temple built during the 6th and 7th centuries and located in Prek Ta Phum commune, Kouk Trach district, Angkorey district, Takeo province.

Nowadays, the site of the ruins of Phnom Pon is an ancient, old-fashioned ruins. But this temple is a place where many tourists always visit all the time because it is slavery of the river surrounded by the rainy season as an island in the middle of the ocean. On the other side, the surrounding woods are green and blue, accompanied by a crystalline lemonade in the spring. Moreover, the people living in the area, especially the people living around the foot of Phnom Da, are very friendly to the tourists who have visited the site.

Phnom Da is about 102 kilometers from Phnom Penh. If we drive along National Highway No. 2 and turn right into the Nang Khmao Temple towards the east side, along the trail along the road, there are many temples such as Phnom Chivo, Prasat Nang Kok, etc.

As we travel to Angkor Borei, we cross a bridge and then reach the temple. It is noteworthy that the temple complex, located on the hills of Phnom Da at the western part of Phnom Penh, also has a small temple called the monk of the monk of the Himi, about 8 meters high.

The temple of Angkor Thom is a temple that has existed for centuries, and to the west of the temple there is another small temple called Neol Pagoda. Mountain Borei is a mountain located on the western side of Phnom Da and is a birthplace, or it can be said as the birthplace of Cambodia (in the Great Pyramid or Funan period).
